Aim
To provide supervisors, team leaders and managers with an understanding of the main concepts of health and safety and therefore promote the benefits of health and safety within the work place and clarify the roles and responsibilities of individuals, supervisors and management.

Course Structure
Three day programme.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for supervisors, managers and owners of small businesses, team leaders and anyone else who has a responsibility for the health and safety of others in the workplace. Candidates on the course should hold the Level 2 Health & Safety Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or have experience considered suitable by the course organiser.
Examination
2-hour exam of 60 multiple choice questions at the end of the course. To achieve the certificate candidates must get a minimum of 40 correct answers.
Award
Successful candidates receive the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Level 3 Health and Safety Certificate. Exceptional results will be recognised by the award of a Merit Certificate.
