Aim
The aim of this five-day course is to provide managers and supervisors with an in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of health and safety so that they will be able to exercise management controls over health and safety within their workplaces.

A minimum of 36 hours instruction is taught over 5 days.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for managers and supervisors responsible for health and safety within their organisations and those seeking approval to deliver the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Level 1 and Level 2 Health and Safety qualifications (with appropriate training skills). Candidates on the course should hold the Level 3 Health and Safety Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or have experience, considered suitable by the course organiser.
Examination
The examination comprises a written paper. Candidates must also submit coursework in the form of written assignments that will go towards the overall mark.
Award
Successful candidates receive the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Level 4 Health and Safety in the Workplace Certificate. Exceptional results will be recognised by the award of a Credit Certificate.
